Ralph Stokoe c.1823 - 1904

Ralph Stokoe was born c.1823 in St John Lee, Northumberland. He was the second child of William Stokoe and Isabella Stokoe (nee Marshall).

On 6th June 1841 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Sandoe, Northumberland, with his parents William Stokoe and Isabella Stokoe (nee Marshall) and his siblings; Jane Stokoe, Mary Stokoe, Bennet Stokoe,  William Stokoe, John Stokoe, Sarah Stokoe and Isabella Stokoe.

On 30th March 1851 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Sandoe, Northumberland, with his parents William Stokoe and Isabell Stokoe (nee Marshall) and his siblings; Jane Stokoe,  William Stokoe, Sarah Stokoe and Isabell Stokoe. Ralph was working as a Blacksmith with his father.

On 7th April 1861 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Sandoe, Northumberland, with his father William Stokoe, his siblings; Bennet Stokoe, Mary Stokoe, William Stokoe, Sarah Stokoe, Isabella Stokoe,  his niece Jane A. Leadbitter and two lodgers, David Dunn and Stewart Fergusson, both Gardner's. Ralph was working as a Blacksmith.

On 2nd April 1871 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Sandhoe, Northumberland, with his mother Isabella Stokoe, his siblings; Mary Stokoe, William Stokoe, his nephew Robert Henderson and a servant Catherine Collins. Ralph was working as a Blacksmith.

On 3rd April 1881 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Sandoe, Northumberland, with his siblings; William Stokoe, Mary Stokoe and his nephew John Stokoe. Ralph Stokoe was working as a Blacksmith.

On 5th April 1891 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Sandoe, Northumberland, with his siblings; Mary Stokoe and William Stokoe. Living next door was his brother Bennett Stokoe and his wife Mary Stokoe and Ralph was working as a Blacksmith.

On 31st March 1901 the Census was held. Ralph Stokoe was living in Ovington, Northumberland, with his siblings; Mary Stokoe and William Stokoe. Ralph was a retired Blacksmith.

In 1904 Ralph Stokoe died.
